Experience
Judith treats both children and adults and is experienced in metal, ceramic and Damon fixed appliances. She also offers all Invisalign treatments and tooth whitening. She trained all of our ortho therapists through the universities of Warwick, Leeds and Central Lancashire. She coordinates staff training, audits and is our lead for safeguarding.
Judith is the NHS contract provider and is responsible for the overall delivery of services for NHS and private patients.
Training and background
Judith undertook her training in Newcastle, including two years of general professional training in all dental specialities at the hospital.
She started with us as an associate in 2007, before going on to become a partner in 2010 and practice owner in 2024.
Areas of speciality/knowledge/skills
Judith is a Specialist Orthodontist. She finds the job very rewarding, having seen the impact that straightening teeth has on self esteem in both children and adults. She specialises in all fixed appliances including ceramic and Damon as well as Invisalign. Judith believes it is best to create a natural smile wherever possible, using natural teeth and enhancing them through whitening procedures to achieve highly aesthetic results.
Associations, awards & charities
Judith belongs to the British Orthodontic Society, British Dental Association and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She has published several research papers and has presented these at international dental conferences. She goes to schools to teach children about dental health and supports local children’s charities.

Outside of work
Judith enjoys cycling, running and spending time with her family.
