Damon Braces offer a comfortable solution and achieve stunning results
Designed differently to metal and white conventional braces the Damon System uses special brackets that allow the wire to move freely reducing friction and speeding up treatment time. The Damon System is also healthier and offers more comfort applying gentler forces to move teeth and without the use of elastic ties so it helps to improve oral hygiene.
Easy To Clean
Damon Braces are still fixed to the teeth. However, the wires are held on to the brackets by miniature “clips” as opposed to elastic bands. As elastics can sometimes discolour, this system helps your fixed brace to stay fresh and clean.
Gentle Forces
The Damon System also use different wires which are intended to deliver very gentle forces to your teeth. Gentle forces are useful in orthodontics as they can reduce the risk of untoward side effects of braces. In fact, using strong forces can actually cause teeth to move slower.
Fewer Visits
The wires work for longer than conventional wires, which means fewer visits to your orthodontist during treatment making the overall treatment more convenient.
Damon Braces are available as part of our Platinum Plus Plan which comprises clear brackets on the upper teeth and a choice of metal or clear brackets on the lower teeth, depending on tooth size.
