Hello! My name is Jess and I am the Marketing Manager for Cleveland Orthodontics in Middlesbrough, UK.
This is a follow up from my first blog ‘biting the bullet’. I’ll keep you up to date with how my working life at Cleveland Orthodontics is progressing and give you updates on any new projects.
Getting stuck into projects
I have managed to get Cleveland Orthodontics on to several different social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. This is still a work in progress and I am also trying to come up with new ideas that will enhance engagement with the public so they feel they can interact with the company on all platforms. My challenge is adhering to the target audience of Cleveland Orthodontics as the Health Care sector is a new audience for me so keep an eye out for future campaigns and projects that I have up my sleeve for the practice.
Socialising with the girls
There has recently been a trip to York for one of the ‘Cleveland Orthodontic’ members of staff’s birthday (a cultural event!). It was a girls-only day as there are only 3 men who work at the practice so they are outnumbered 20 to 3 by women so it’s fair to say they would’ve been eaten alive with this wild bunch. I was a bit apprehensive about going along as it was my first social outing with the girls but again I decided to ‘bite the bullet’ buy a new outfit and go to York. Throughout the day I got praise for going along, one of the receptionists told me she didn’t know if I would turn up and she’s glad I came. In the end I was happy I went, I got to know the girls a lot better, they got to know me and it was a fun filled day.
