Private Treatments
There is no waiting list for private treatment. Treatment can usually start within a couple of weeks.
Metal, White & Damon Braces
(Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus Plans)
- Detailed orthodontic assessment
- Treatment options discussed
- Prices (including payment options) discussed
- Appointment for detailed treatment planning, X-rays, photographs and impressions
- Treatment discussed in detail
- Consent forms signed
- This takes about 45 minutes
- Braces are stuck to the teeth with glue: no needles, no drills
- Patients can choose what brace colour they want
- Advice will be given on brace care and oral hygiene
- Every 6 to 8 weeks (may differ depending on treatment stage)
- Braces are adjusted to move the teeth gently into the new position
- Towards the end of treatment, your orthodontist or therapist may ask you to wear elastics from your top to your bottom brace
- Braces ‘click’ off, this takes a few minutes
- The glues polished off
- Impressions and photographs taken
- Patients are provided with clear removable retainers – a spare set is also provided
- Advice will be given on how to wear retainers
- We will check that the retainers are working either via an appointment or via a telephone appointment
- An assessment can be arranged to discuss our range of tooth lightening options
Invisalign
- Detailed orthodontic assessment
- Treatment options discussed
- Prices (including payment options) discussed
- Appointment for Invisalign records, X-rays, photographs and impressions
- Records sent to invisalign
- Clincheck from Invisalign viewed so that end result of treatment can be observed as well as how long treatment will take
- Consent forms signed
- This takes about 15 minutes
- Attachments may need to be fitted either at this appointment or your next appointment which takes around 30minutes
- Advice will be given on brace care and oral hygiene
- Every 6 to 8 weeks (may differ depending on treatment stage)
- Further aligners will be given at these appointments
- Attachments polished off
- Impressions and photographs taken
- Patients are provided with clear removable retainers – a spare set is also provided
- Advice will be given on how to wear retainers
- We will check that the retainers are working either via an appointment or via a telephone appointment
- An assessment can be arranged to discuss our range of tooth lightening options
