Jill qualified as a dentist from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1993. After completing Vocational Training, she worked as a General Dental Practitioner before becoming a Practice Principal in 1996. In 2001, she left General Dental Practice to pursue a career within the Community Dental Services, becoming a Senior Dental Officer in 2004. During this time she developed many skills within special care dentistry.
In 2010, Jill became a Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at James Cook University Hospital. She joined Cleveland Orthodontics in 2014.
Jill gained her dental degree BDS at Newcastle University, qualifying as a dentist in 1993. She then completed one year of vocational training within general dental practice (1993-1994).
With her Community Dental background, Jill is very experienced and skilled in dealing with young, nervous or anxious patients, as well as patients with additional needs.
Jill is registered with the GDC and is a member of the BDA.
Jill always works closely with her dental nurse, forming a strong team to facilitate the smooth running of the clinic and enhance the patient experience.
Jill is married and has a teenage son. They have a boisterous border collie who needs lots of walks and attention. Jill loves to spend time with her family and friends when she can. She also enjoys gardening and reading.
