Custom-made to protect your teeth

If you play any contact sport, such as rugby, martial arts etc, it would be advisable to have a custom-made mouth guard to protect your teeth and braces during your treatment. Repeated breakages of braces due to contact sports can lead to longer treatment times.

At Cleveland Orthodontics we can create and provide a mouthguard that is designed specifically for you. Ask your orthodontist for more information and advice regarding mouthguards.

A Perfect Fit

Since your teeth are moving during the treatment, it is quite difficult to find mouthguards that will be loose fitting enough to allow the teeth to move, but tight enough to stay in!

Process

Simple Process

We can provide custom-made mouth guards that are specifically designed to fit around fixed braces and accommodate movement of the teeth. This will involve taking an impression of the teeth and braces and sending it to our orthodontic technician.

Colour Choice

Once your impression has been taken, all you have to do next is chose a colour! There is a limited range available so please ask your orthodontist to see the colour choice.
